He previously attended the Arizona College of Trial Advocacy as part of his Continuing Education. Based on his talent and experience, the workshop\u2019s organizers asked him to share his insights this year as an instructor.The\u00a0Arizona College of Trial Advocacy, or Trial College, serves as the flagship program of the State Bar of Arizona\u2019s Trial Practice section. The intensive, five-day workshop provides practical hands-on training for trial lawyers from throughout the state.The program gives lawyers the opportunity \u201cto learn trial techniques from masters of the art\u201d and refine their trial advocacy skills. The program ends with a half-day mock trial, with live jurors and judges in a Maricopa County Superior Court courtroom.This year\u2019s Trial College took place from August 1-5 at Black Canyon Conference Center in Phoenix. The program was limited to 36 students.Mr. Mushkatel earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona and his law degree from the University of Minnesota Law School. He has practiced law in Arizona since 2004. He started out as a public defender before moving into private practice. In addition to\u00a0criminal law, Mr. Mushkatel practices civil litigation, with a focus on estate litigation and\u00a0personal injury\u00a0cases.The National Trial Lawyers has selected Mr. Mushkatel for its \u201cTop 40 Under 40\u201d list.
