Lisa was born and raised in Northwest Indiana. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Purdue University in 1987: she graduated in three years, and received her degree With Distinction. She received her law degree from Valparaiso University School of Law in 1991, graduating Cum Laude. Lisa was admitted to the Indiana bar in 1991, and is also admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana, and the United States Court of Federal Claims. She was later admitted to the Arizona bar in 2012, and before the United States District Court, District of Arizona, in 2013.
Lisa and her husband, Joe, had their own law office in Northwest Indiana for many years, focusing in estate planning and probate matters. Lisa has been licensed in Arizona since 2012, and she and her husband are full time residents in Sun City West, Arizona.
Lisa concentrates her practice in estate planning and administration, probate litigation, corporate and real estate matters, as well as family law. In order to serve her clients better, Lisa has made a commitment to utilize the best technology available in the practice of law, which she believes will enable her to deliver more organized and efficient service. Successful attorneys know that no substitute for thorough research, preparation and file management exists. Lisa is proud to offer her clients the benefits of technology, enhanced by hard work, the willingness to go the extra mile, integrity and tenacity. Every client is important to her, and she values each and every client relationship. She analyzes every client’s file, assesses the legal issues raised, and the work that is required. Then she puts forth the time necessary to get the matter addressed, in the clients’ best interests. She never loses sight of the fact that her success in Court is her client’s success, and that we all must maintain strong relationships with our clients through trust, hard work, and efficient services.
She has lectured before public and private groups with regard to estate planning and administration and probate litigation and has over 30 publications. If you want her to speak for your group, just let her know.
When Lisa isn’t practicing law, she enjoys spending time with her husband and her dog, traveling, and a variety of needlework (such as cross stitch, needlepoint, embroidery, quilting – this list can go on and on).
